Don’t look at old reviews
Stayed here for just one night but wish it was longer saw reviews and was little worried but this hotel is new only opened on 20/10/19 ok so few bits not ready yet ie bar but one next door was good and on the other side is museum, out on balcony you can almost touch the bridge. Very nice
The room was very nice. The bed and linens were comfortable. The staff was polite and very helpful. It's in a great location. The breakfast was decent. The views from where we ate were very nice. It's hard for me to believe how little I paid for this all.

I totally loved Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai Hotel (the amenities were fantastic and the location was great if you are planning trips around), I wish we could have stayed longer. There was a really lovely feel to the place and the people were truly lovely. When I return, I will definitely book into the river kwai hotel again.

I was assuming this to be a small hotel , but when I first saw it , I was quite stunned. It was a huge hotel with a bar, swimming pool, restaurant, spa and everything. Exactly on the main road, almost 10 mins walk from the main bus stand . Or you can pay 20 Baht for a ride in the shared bike taxi.

Nice place to stay
I stayed here for a weekend. Only 300m from bus station. It's located in the heart of Kanchanaburi, but no "noise" problems from the city.
Rooms are big, bathroom with bath and shower.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Many things to choose from for breakfast.

Great location
The hotel location is perfect - there are a lot of cafes and shops close to this. A night club and massage salon are in the neighborhood. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Furniture in the room is not new but rooms are clean.

Good value for money
Great value for 25 US$ - booking in internet - but don't expect 5 star conditions. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast nice selection of Thai foods but also breads to toast, fruits, cereals and tea and coffee. Nice large pool area. I would stay at this hotel again.

Simple but nice
Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy but all the necessary was there. In the same restaurant one can eat during day / evening very good a la carte food for almost no money.
The hotel is old but that's not really disturbing, they should keep on maintaining and renovating though, if not one will see a high-speed wearing down.

Value for the money paid. The place needs refurbishing, It is still a good hotel but absolutely in need of an upgrade. It shows in everything. The linen although clean is a bit worn, things like that. Rooms are OK, but as said before dated. The sound of the disco was not really annying.... but.. it shouldn't be in the same build...

within walking distance of fantastic night market.A little bit further is the Bridge and musems a must is Hell fire pass, tiger temple and visiting some of the fantastic waterfalls. Make sure you don't go on a Thai holiday weekend because the waterfalls are visited by the locals and it will get very crowded.

This isn't too shabby
Although not located near the river, it's location lends itself to other local treats like the night market and the food street. The rooms are clean and the service is refreshing. It's also pretty close to the train station.

Nice Hotel - slightly off location
Arguably, the hotel is a little shabby - but at the price that can be obtained by booking in advance or through various agents/websites, represents good value. It's a busy hotel. The restaurants do well - the new outdoor "House" looks good - and so does the disco - attracting lots of locals.

We stayed in a family room with 3 single beds - great as our 10 year old needs her own bed.
Good sized room with large tv and plenty of storage space for baggage.
