Best hotel in the world! What not to like. Everything was perfect! From the service, to the food, to the spa, to the activities, etc. Nothing wrong to say! It’s the perfect Covid bubble, you feel very safe all the time, it is so spacious! Bike around the property or choose to spend some time in your own private pool in your casita. The fitness classes with Erick were amazing (indoor and outdoor), always different and fun! As well as the yoga lesson with Gladys, so peaceful by the cenote. And the sound bath with Monica was just what we needed to deeply relax. Definitely coming back!

Hotel's Favorite First-class jungle resort First-class resort in every way. Beautiful, private casitas with private pool. Excellent food. Well-trained and friendly staff. Spa facilities and treatments were wonderful. Good location for day trips to Mérida and to some of the cenotes. Highly recommend.

Magical retreat in the Mayan jungle This is the best hotel in Mexico. The staff at Chable is exceptional, from Jorge and Rudy at Ix'Im, to Andre, to Alejandre. Whatever you want, they are there for you. Grandma Ak'Bal is the heart of the entire experience here, so if you go, be sure to book an activity with her - it's an emotional and fulfilling experience you will never forget. Each villa is huge and extremely private. There is no reason to leave. But when you do, you feel like a guest at a friend's huge estate. The atmosphere is a very laid-back luxurious experience and is a far cry from the artificial feeling at corporate chain hotels. The resort blends wellness and health with cultural education and luxury. It now feels like a second home for us. We will be back.

Top Notch The setting is unique, exclusive. The hotel lies on a huge property, an old hacienda hosting a mills genuinly slicky renovated keeping the soul of the past with all the features of today. The food is exceptional, a must to pass by if you are visiting this part of the world.

Relaxing and healing prenatal massage Had a prenatal massage, which started with a ritual that I welcomed with all my heart. The setting is relaxing, surrounded by nature. The team was super accommodating and careful of what was comfortable or not for me before and during the massage. Thanks to everyone at the Chablé spa!

EXTRAordinary! Extraordinary! Seriously….STAY HERE! 5 stars all the way. Was looking at this location over a year and finally took the plunge (booked through skylark travel for the extra benefits!). Ayerim the concierge made sure we were well prepared ahead of time and from the second we arrived everything was top notch. We had stayed first at Hacienda Temazon where literally unless you do the 45 min tour you have no idea why anything there is the way it is. Nothing is explained of the old artifacts or buildings etc. At Chable from the moment you enter you are explained everything and can immediately start understanding what’s what, what the history is, why who what where- Thank you Angel! The property is absolutely stunning! The vibe is so serene and chill. Total relaxation and fabulous luxury at every turn! You are treated like a king and queen. Thank you to Viviana Liliana Abigail Ximena Marisel Clementino Guadalupe Gaciela Angel Ayerim Chef Ernesto Samuel Chef Luis The spa massage was amazing! Beautiful location over the Cenote. Gym is awesome!!! The food was fabulous! Delicious! Everything!!!! The views from the sitting areas! The service! The design!!!! Just stunning! Highly recommend the cooking class at IX’IAM with Esnesto! The restaurant had won most beautiful design in the world and we got to cook a Michelin style 5 star meal in the kitchen! Do you know how amazing the food is when you get to prepare it yourself? The rooms are mic drop! You don’t see lots of photos on the website on purpose, So you can be wowed when you get to ur room. Trust me. The outdoor shower, private plunge pool, the bed- oMG the bed! The Yucatán teen dancers have amazing passion and entertain with their magical traditional dancing. The cigar bar is awesome! You feel like you are on sacred ground and it’s a fabulous place to get grounded! It’s an effort to get there but worth it and you won’t want to leave. Anyone who stays here must count all their blessings because outside the walls you see how the rest of the area lives - tip well. I used Transportation by Christian Cherrez via what’s app 52 999 242 8334 that i booked through another hotel. Safe and responsive he even drove us to Cancun after stopping at Chichen Itza for way cheaper than any quote Elsewhere. Put this Chable on your bucket list if you want to have a romantic chill getaway to restore and replenish!

The Land of Yes! 3.27 -4.3.2021 Casita 20 The Land of YES! Every request here is met with a smile and a ‘yes.’ They take service to a very high level. We enjoy visiting the best of the best, but this staff exceeded them all. My husband and I visited with our 9 year old and we loved being in nature. Beautifully kept grounds, huge pool by the breakfast restaurant. Can be a bit boring for 7 days but we found it relaxing. Bring books! The rooms/casitas are stunning with an outdoor hammock and plunge pool. They are well equipped w everything you need: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, bug repellant, q-tips, cotton pads, shower cap and blow dryer. Just some of the fabulous people that take care of all your needs: Leonardo, Ivan, Valeria, all the concierges, Christhian (fantastic waiter, translator & was everywhere we needed him to be), Andre (veterinarian/apiary and deer tour), Erick (fitness instructor and Green Route tour guide), Jorges (Sommelier/mezcal tasting), Marcela @ the spa. Make sure to book every experience they have...the 5 course Mayan lunch, the Mayan Chocolate making, the Green route (& then the Chef Ernesto Flores made a beautiful salad w what we picked from the garden). Plus Alfonso: breakfast waiter @ ki’ol. Also Luis: golf/tennis, Samuel: waiter @ Ixi’im & Josue: waiter @ Ixi’Im for tasting menu. Please make sure to visit Ixi’im as much as possible. It’s beautiful and oh so good! Also, we very much enjoyed Grandmother Ak’mal for the cleansing and Mayan rituals. I wish they had so much more with the Grandmother, especially for kids. She is the most lovely teacher. We and our 9 year old really enjoyed her classes. She’s so calm and nurturing. Please give her more to teach! Being submerged in the Yucatán area really makes you want to learn more about the Mayans. Visit the San Ignacio Cenote in Chochola; it’s tiny and will take you about an hour. The restaurant on-site there is good for lunch too. Covid test @ hotel—we booked 3 days in advance and they came to the room. Cigar lounge: my husband loved it! And they would bring me wine from the restaurant. They have great tequilas and mezcals. I asked Jorge to put together a special mezcal tasting for my husband and it was the best money spent. My husband was over the moon. Spa: Marcela was wonderful for the 3 hour journey. Flotation, foot ritual, scalp massage, salt scrub & lymph massage. Go 20-30 min early to enjoy the sauna and pools. Last, they have very good espresso, even the decaf. I’m so picky about it and it was all excellent. And they easily accommodated my gluten free allergy with no issues. Overall we would go again and hope to visit Chable Maroma soon!

Most magical place on earth Chable is ... incredible. Probable the most beautiful place I’ve visited in my life. The nature is breathtaking and so well maintained. The casitas are huge and so well designed and there is everything you can hope for inside. Architecture is wonderful. The food is amazing, we were vegetarian and they cooked us amazing meals with local products. And the service..... professional, nice, anticipating all your desires. Nothing is a problem. Spa: amazing. Many superlatives but this place is heaven on earth. Highly highly highly recommend. Incredible stay.

Jungle Chic near Merida There are a few places in the world that are so unique because of the location, it is hard to compare to other hotels in their category...Amangiri, Belmond Hotels des Cataratas, One and Only Wolgan Valley, Oberoi Agra...well Chable Yucatan fits into that category. While I had been to Merida before, I had not visited this slice of heaven 40 minutes outside the city. This jungle chic Hacienda is a great blend of old and new with world class dining and spa. My only regret of our stay is we didn’t stay longer.

A Wonderful Stay and A Wonderful New Years! Two things stand out for this terrific hotel: the friendly, always smiling staff and the exceptional design. Rocco Bova, the GM, has put together a terrific staff, always ready to help and smiling the whole way. He actually met my wife and I at the airport to make sure we comfortable and handed s off to the driver to take us to the property. Service is truly there. Those who have read other of my reviews know that we are Amanjunkies and this property reflects that degree of service and style. The design of the property is a wonderful blend of a historic sisal plantation and the modern architecture that we love. The modern has been inserted so well into the IXI’IM Restaurant that both the historic and new shine. The individual villas are also beautifully designed with a wonderful indoor/outdoor relationship. The villa feels (and is) very expansive with the outdoor courtyard and private pool so well thought through that we used it as much as the more public areas. In short, quite a wonderful experience. One thing that is not clear on their website, they are happy to arrange quite wonderful tours. We spent the day at Chichén Itzá, about 2 hours away arranged by the hotel through Mayan Heritage. As a side note, we were there for New Years Eve and, as expected, they had arranged a wonderful outdoor evening of cocktails, live music, multi-course dinner and of course an Imperial of Moet champagne shared at midnight. What was not expected was a heavy thunderstorm that started at about 6:30pm and lasted well into the evening. While I am certain that there was an intense back-of-the-house effort to get the whole event under cover, you would never had know that they had planned for anything else. It was seamless and very, very festive - a tribute again to Rocco's staff and his leadership. While I could say a lot more, suffice it to say that this is one property we will return to, likely several times more.

Best hotel we've ever stayed at We've stayed at some pretty serious hotels throughout the world, mostly Europe, Asia, Mexico and the USA....This was the best one we've ever been to. It's literally an oasis, there's 40 rooms so probably about 140 gusts at a time max and I think the property is close to 700 acres. The Spa is incredible, the food is incredible, the service was amazing and they have a fantastic gym overlooking the cenote, one of a kind! We can't wait to go back.

Perfect Recharge This is the perfect hideout to recharge your batteries. The facility is beautiful and the staff is extremely helpful. Everything is of highest quality. The best thing is that there is plenty of space for privacy. Food at Ixiim and Kiol are divine.

Best of the best Having stayed at plenty of luxury resorts, I can, without a doubt, say Chable Yucatán is second to none. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on the first leg of our honeymoon and were completely blown away in every aspect. The grounds are gorgeous, villas are massive, beautiful decor, excellent staff and food and drinks are next level. Needless to say, Chable Yucatán set the bar extremely high and we haven’t stopped talking about it since the minute we left. Nothing compares. Take advantage of the incredible spa! We did the Temezcal with Grandma Ak’bal and it was such a beautiful, spiritual experience that we will never forget. We also received some of the best massages of our lives. Carlos has the hands of an angel. We will absolutely be returning as well as visiting the other Chable locations.

Babymoon of my dreams There's a reason this hotel was voted best in the world. From arrival to departure, you will be left wanting for nothing. My husband and I originally booked 2 nights at Chable before heading into Merida. However, after only 1 night, we were back at Chable. It was just too hard to go from this amazing resort to do anything else. Staff: The staff are top notch. Every person we encountered was friendly and appeared eager to make our stay memorable. When we asked for anything, we were given it 10 fold. For example, I asked for a side of bacon with breakfast, expecting 1-2slices, and was given 15!! When I asked to take home a bottle of conditioner, I was prompting delivered 5 bottles. Casitas: The Casitas are second to none. You truly feel like you are in your own private jungle oasis. The plunge pool and outdoor shower were to die for. Spa: We did a prenatal massage and deep tissue massage at the spa. Both were wonderful treatments and the welcome ritual was a nice surprise. Common areas: The entire property is beautiful. It's a great mix of old and new. We loved taking long walks in the mornings before it was too hot. Probably 95% of the paths are shaded and made for a great experience. We saw plenty of deer, birds, and fireflys. During our stay, there was a big event and about 30 of the Casitas were booked. The resort never felt crowded and we never had to wait for anything. Food: The food was outstanding. We booked the "journey of taste" package, which I highly recommend. It included breakfast and a 3 course meal for both lunch and dinner for 2 people. I've never eaten so much food in my life. Experiences: We noted that we were celebrating both a birthday and a baby at the resort. The staff provided small gifts, cakes, and cards for both occasions. One thing that stood apart from the rest was the tequila tasting. We're not big tequila drinkers but the experience was 10/10. Final thoughts: It was pricey, yes, but worth every penny. We will be back!

Beautiful hideaway with excellent food Beautiful former hacienda, located in a magnificent garden with well manicured nature - only the garden is a reason to visit! All the houses are beautifully restored, the main house with the concierge desk and bar, the cigar bar, etc. - in particular I would like to highlight the restaurant Ixim, which is extremely well restored and decorated, one of the most beautiful restaurant decor ever seen. The casitas are large and all have their own garden, terrace and plunge pool. There are many plants so you are completely secluded and have utmost privacy. Large rooms, large bathroom. All restaurants serve excellent food. Again Ixim is outstanding, really excellent food. Wine selection is a bit limited but ok. What makes the difference is the outstanding service. In particular in the restaurants all staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. They make everything to make your stay a pleasant experience. There are some minor issues with service at concierge but they really try their best and are so friendly so you can easily live with it. And I really appreciate that the general manager Leonardo was always there and ensured all guests are fully happy - this management attention is really great and well appreciated. Nice SPA, pool, tennis, golf etc - many activities are offered. Great place to fully unwind and relax, with excellent food and outstanding staff- highly recommended!

Best hotel we have done in Mexico!!! + : - Best hotel we have done in Mexico so far - Located in a former hacienda, the common areas are breathtaking - An incredible mix of old and new done by the architects that give you joy everywhere you go - property is huge and we loved in when running in the property during the morning, encountering deers, hundreds of birds, squirrels, koatis… - Villas are just fantastic - pools are perfectly heated - the standard restaurant is delicious - We loved to use our bikes in this huge property - The General Manager / owner always come to see you and make sure that you will enjoy your stay and that everything is perfect, and that’s really something you can feel, all the staff lead by this kind of management is trying to do the extra mile and I really mean everyone. From the gardeners to the housekeepers, from the General Managers to the waiters, all the staff is extraordinary, ultra professional, it was like an awaken dream! - location is amazing, from Celestun national park to Uxmal or Merida, there are so many thing to see / do departing from the hotel Regarding the negative points, there are none, Ok the nights are expensive, but it definitely worth it. We really wish we could have stay longer!!! But one thing is for sure, when we’ll come back in Mexico, we’ll come back in Chable Yucatan!!!

Incredible, would go back again and again We absolutely loved our stay at the Chable. The staff were exceptionally polite, the location was serene and the casita was clean and secluded. Everything was perfect for our honeymoon and I couldn’t have asked for somewhere more romantic and relaxing. The spa is very good, I’ve had a lot of massages in my time and the deep tissue massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. We also used other facilities and were impressed. Everything was clean and welcoming. Only comments would be that the music by the pool at Ki’ol was quite loud at times and could be turned down. Ixi’im was good but I wouldn’t write home about it. The whole experience however was incredible and I’d recommend to all my friends. Thanks Chable for the most amazing five days.

A much needed escape Our stay here was so wonderful. The property grounds are amazing, over 70 acres of lush jungle, with lovely gardens tended to. The rooms are some of the best we've ever stayed in, beautiful patio with private, heated pool, large sliding wooden doors that open to your luxurious casita, double indoor & out door showers, double sinks, vanity area, huge closet area ,etc. Morning coffee, tea, fresh pastries delivered to your patio daily. Pool area is incredible, with the lovely presence of Alejandra making sure you're taken care of. The Xiim restaurant is beyond beautiful to just walk through nd admire their tequila collection of some 3500 bottles. The food is prepared with great pride by Executive Chef, Luis Ronzon. The Spa has some very unique offerings and the setting is incredible, also you can take you Yoga class on the deck overlooking the Cenote. If you are looking for luxury, and peacefulness ,this has it all. Gracias para todo Chable Yucatan.

Breathtaking property with luxury facilities with a service improvement opportunity I have mixed feelings in writing this review… Let me start saying that the property is definitely one of the best ones I have stayed at and I can definitely compare it to Aman ones. The resort is definitely at the forefront of the best hotels worldwide with astonishing views and superb design, every corner I went too never stopped to take my breath away, immerse in the Mayan jungle the architecture, interior design and harmony is at the ultimate stage of perfection. Further, the hotel offers daily activities and has complement services (such as daily bread and coffee delivered to your casita, mini bar refill at no cost, tea time at SPA, snack complement services at the pool, among others) that make your stay to be pleasant and enjoyable throughout your time at the resort. Further, the hotel staff was able to meet special requests as early check-in / late check-out and complement cake for my wife as we were celebrating her birthday However, when it comes to service I did came across a couple of disappointments: 1. I was eager to dine at Ixi'im, restaurant where the renowned chef Jorge Vallejo (Quintonil founder) designed the menu. But when I arrived at the hotel they told me that they had a special celebration going on where they invited some chefs from other restaurants and were offering a fixed-course menu with mezcal pairing, don't get me wrong as the experience was beyond amazing but nobody raised this to me in advance and I was not able to enjoy the Ixi'im menu as no reservations were available for the other days during my stay so I was not able to plan this in advance. Lastly, we were celebrating my wife's birthday (which I noted in the reservation) but at the restaurant they didn't sent any special note / detail until I raised this to the restaurant manager, small details that end up making the difference - However, hotel staff did left a cake at our casita upon our arrival as noted above 2. I made a reservation at the cigar bar well in advance (required given COVID limitations), however upon my arrival no one was able to greet me and I had to wait almost 1h for someone to come and open the Cigar bar for me, I ended up missing the Ixi'im dinner later that evening (they accepted a reservation me at the bar counter and serve me simple dishes) as I got behind the schedule. Further when ordering a couple of Albariño glasses nobody told me that the wine I ordered was by the bottle only, they kindly offered to split the bottle and charge me by the glass given this situation. Again, service surprise.. Not the one you expect at this type of resort 3. Lastly, service at the pool was slow and not at the level of a 5-star resort with some of the staff seemed new to the hotel business as I had to stand-up and ask directly to the manager for the food / drinks I had requested to the waiter Overall I would definitely come back to the resort but they do need to work on service. Further, can’t wait to visit other Chablé properties, definitely an experience worth having

A Perfect Stay! We chose Chable after carefully studying many properties in Mexico for our one year anniversary, and while our expectations were high, we were still blown away at how great our experience was. Every single staff member we encountered was sincere and delightful to talk with. The grounds were so well taken care of that it felt as though we were in paradise. And the food - excellent, well thought out, and intentional. We LOVED the tasting menu experience at Ixi'im. It was one of the highlights of the visit. But the other food at Ki'ol and the Wellness restaurant were also fantastic. The spa, as everyone has mentioned, is really top-notch. I had three treatments and every therapist I had was great. They definitely keep their standards high. We also took advantage of some of the complimentary activities - we visited the Melipona bees onsite (they are a stingless bee, and their honey is rare) and learned about their history; we visited the Mayan cooking hut and made handmade tortillas with the sweetest ladies; and enjoyed a well curated afternoon tea with delicate little pastries. Our casita offered us privacy where we could lounge about in our pool at night, and savor the A/C when needed. The indoor/outdoor shower was very well designed - you step through glass doors to the indoor shower, and there are a second set of glass doors that open to the outdoor shower. We really couldn't find a single thing they could improve on - they scored a perfect 100% in our books.
