Do not let the location put you off... There is a short-cut to the river in which you cross the train tracks, so a 10 min walk from hotel to the shuttle boat. Not once did we feel exhausted during the short walk.

Cozy resort with great staff
We stayed 5 nights here. Free bikes provided. Staff gave great advises for sightseeing and local restaurant suggestions, tuktuk transportation is arranged upon request. Resort is 10 min walk from train station. Breakfast and diner are simple but very good. Bungalows are clean with good airco. Good laundry service.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful....
Baan Thai is SUCH a beautiful hotel and property. It is located just a 5 min walk from the train station, but is so quiet and peaceful.
The rooms are beautiful and new, decorated with Thai style furniture.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, and spoke perfect English!

Excellent.
This place exceeded expectations. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the place was spotless. The food was great. The only minor thing is that the shower did not get hot but e are finding that to be the case with a lot of places in Thailand. The beds were so comfy. Thank you to all staff!
