Gourgeous hotel in a beautiful Riverside setting. Hospitality was second to none, food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and town to anyone wishing a quiet spa retreat. An undiscovered gem, in a lovely country that would welcome all who visit.

We spent a great weekend in this place. Rooms are good, beds are comfortable, weighty rooms ... the view of the river is wonderful. Great local location. Reception is nice, helpful. In the morning you can hear the birds chirping, very nice.

great location, on the Niemen river (make sure that you ask for a room facing the river :) ) - good size rooms, overall décor a bit outdated (late 80/90 of the XXth century?) - but overall , great service and good value for the money - in my opinion, much better , cozier, than big, Soviet style spas in the city

not far from center, on the river's bank, shops and restaurants in walking distance. taxi fare very cheap within the city. did not use the attractions. Very clean. Most friendly staff. Minimal sorts of spa massages, but The lady who attends to it is most kind and professional!

We had two dinners at the restaurant Violeta. Excellent quality of food, great presentation, diverse menu, including vegetarian; welcoming environment, superb service from Daiva. We recommend it as one of the best restaurants in Druskininkai.

The Hotel Violeta is one of the best places to stay in Druskininkai. It's located right by the river Nemunas, which makes for excellent surroundings. If you want the best view from your room, it's an extra 3 Eur per night. (Trust me, it's worth it.) The rooms are spacious, with heated floors in the bathrooms. The quiet atmosphere is great for relaxation as is the range of very reasonably priced facials and massages. There is a small pool and steam room downstairs which you can use for free as well as a small gym. The Hotel restaurant is one of the best places to eat in the whole of Druskininkai, with a large selection of healthy and nutritious food, served with excellent presentation. The food is also very well priced, averaging 4 EUR for an entree and 8 EUR for a main course.…

One of my most favorite hotels in the world. The first reason is the location...near the river and great nature...so quite at night...love to keep my windows open there. The second reason is the food. The chef is superb....my desert is predictable...always apple cake. The rooms are specious and the bathrooms very clean.

We stayed 2 nights at Violeta hotel and really loved it. The hotel is small and although it was full, you just don't feel it. The room was very clean, we had a wonderful view of the Nemunas river. There was everything you need provided in the room and bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We also enjoyed jacuzzi and a steam bath very much. There is a nice dining place with lots of plants and large windows with the view of the river and fireplace as well. Negative points: Instead of the double bed we found two single beds just being put together. It was quite cold in the room (march, still lots of snow outside and strong cold winds), but as soon as we complained about it to the staff, they provided us with a electrical heater, so we had no more…

In soviet era Druskininkai was known as a spa topic. This is true even today and much has changed towards better even in spa culture from those days. The hotel gas a beautiful location by Litauens viggest river Nemunas and you should book a room facing the river. Very friendly and helpful service and a good restaurant too and in the summer you should eat out in the terrace. The restaurant has a good reputation, but we left a bit dissappointed, both my sirloin steak and my wife's duck breast were cooked over and the juiciness of the dishes was lost. The breakfast buffet was tasty and abundant. Absolutely a good choice in Druskininkai.

Druskininkai is still struggling to emerge as a spa destination post Soviet Union collapse. Most of the properties in town are remodeled version of the Soviet sanatoriums - soulless, hulking, reminders of why it all cam crashing down. This property is a small, boutique villa one the river within a short walk from the waters and various spa services. The setting couldn't be more peaceful. The property itself is new and well laid out. The only gripe is the fact that the sound insulation was appropriate for a private home, but not for a hotel. You could easily hear the conversation in the hallway and the television in the next room. Make sure you get the river view, it's well worth it. The room was nice, but the lack of air conditioning can be a problem if the day is hot. Th…

This hotel is located in a beautiful old-style villa in the centre of Druskininkai by the Neman river. Hotel offers gym, baths and small whirlpool pool. Nice and polite staff, very good breakfasts. Very big and comfortable beds. Poor ventilation in the bathroom and lack of air-condition in the room. It was impossible to open mosquito net in the window. I have booked two rooms with the same standard and the same price, but one looked much different from another – one was spacious with beautiful river view and second one was much smaller and without a river view. There was no free drinking mineral water in the rooms – only at extra cost.

Nice hotel with a jacuzzi. My wife and I arrived at 11:00pm after quite a long journey. It was all very quiet on arrival but the receptionist was very pleasant, and although there were no refreshments in the way of a cup of coffee or tea, we got a little bottle of water to take to our room. Rooms are very comfortable, although the first few minutes were spent removing the spiders from various locations. The danger with these reviews is that you can tend to concentrate on the negative things, so overall the experience of staying here was very good. Rooms are very spacious, our bath however wasn't, it was quite small, so if you like a bath look elsewhere, shower is ok, plenty of hot water. However, one of the attractions prior to booking was the nice picture of the man sipping a…

We stayed here for two nights in May. The hotel was quite nice and the rooms were good. The staff seemed far more interested in watching television than anything else. Part of the problem might have been the presence of a large group of teenagers on a sports trip. They had almost all of the rooms in this small hotel and no one else seemed important. We tried to eat our evening meal there the first night and were told that the dining room was closed, even though the hours on the door stated that it was open and the place was set up. Breakfast was good but we had a small table for 4 and the rest of the room was a large table set up for the team. We did use the pool and it was nice (though a bit cool). No one was around at the time - not staff or other hotel guests.

This hotel had staff who makes you feel at home. The entrance is big and shiny, so are the rooms. Our room had a huge bed, two big relax chairs and a big bathroom. In the basement of the hotel is a free to use sauna and jaccuzzi. A great place to relax, near a few restaurants and a supermarket. One minus is that the breakfast was till 10 am and at 9.30 various items (lik e bread and yogurt) were finished but not re-supplied.

Normally we stay in this hotel on our family holidays. Sometimes on business trips. It is a very cozy small hotel, with only some 20 rooms, marvelous view of river Nemunas, nice cuisine, very friendly staff, and "like at home" atmosphere. Rooms are clean and full of light. We just love the outdoor restaurant terrace in summer time or warm sitting at the fireplace in the lobby in winter time. The hotel has its own (Seems to me mineral water) pool with different streams, Turkish Sauna. We always enjoy body massage in this hotel. The aquapark of Druskininkai and The Snow Arena are just 15 and 20 minutes of walk away. So far it is a choice number one for stay in Druskininkai.

Arrived late an evening in June, and booked a room for two nights. New and shiny hotel with nice but rather small rooms. Good price compared to other hotels in Druskininkai. The service was varying depending on who where present in the reception desk. One guy obviously was new in the job, while the others were wery helpful. Most of the staff were english speaking. The restaurant has a lovely location, and the food is well worth trying. Reasonably priced as well. There is a small SPA located in the basement, but didn't get any chance to try massages etc. since everything was fully booked at the moment (wich is a good sign, I suppose). Nice, large whirlpool/massage bath and steam bath available for guests. Extremely refreshin after a long, warm day. But no swimming pool as might…

Beautiful location, clean rooms, very tasty food, helpful staff. What I dont like: noisy minibar, noisy ventilation and can hear everything from corridors. Even you can hear phone ringing in the reception.

We booked a suite in the hotel for couple nights, the room was fine . The river at the back of the hotel provides pastoral feeling, but there is nothing else to do in the hotel , dinner at the hotel was good , breakfast was reasonable but below our expectations. We had better breakfasts in two other hotels in Lithuania . The hotel’s fitness center is poor and the small jacuzzi pool (SPA) was much less attractive than the photo picture hence we didn’t use it. We tried to book a massage a day in advance , but all was booked (apparently there is only one massagist in the hotel ) , the receptionist recommended to approach the Draugystės sanitorium across the street where the pool is located. The staff in the sanitorium didn’t speak English – they are not equipped with the…

Stayed here for one night in shoulder season. Rooms with a view over the river were spacious and bed was huge. Shower was just a trickle which was disappointing. Spa Services were unavailable. Male receptionist should not be in the hospitality industry!!! Breakfast was good.

Been at this hotel for several times and just state the fact that this hotel is an average selection for everyone who wants a calm place to stay. Very close to the river, a park and a downtown. Kitchen serves European dishes and there is a plenty of space for the parking.

Getting worse and worse every year. Food, staff, facilities - all was more or less OK like 10 years ago but now it's just terrible. It feels like they stuck in the past without any progress required nowadays.
